Yep... Max is walking!!! He beat Bo's age of walking by a month. Bo had us a little nervous not walking until 17 months... but Max has done it just shy of 16 months... Way to go BIG BOY!!!

Simplified and LOVING IT!!!!
Well... we are settled in Georgia! It has been an amazing past month... full of blessings and joy and little heartache. Ever since December 13th... life has been full of blessings... May the pictures tell the story... Chronological order... BACKWARDS... I've simplified my life, so I'm not gonna spend the time rearranging all these photos! :)
Our new home... We love it! We are about 5 miles out of Rome. Far enough to feel like we are in the country, but close enough to pop into town!
We live with about 6 other house on this quiet road.
We have a great shed... I call it my workshop! Colby calls it White Bears house!
I love the front porch swing... Me, Bo , and Max watch for Sam, Jack, & Colby to come home each day!
There is a pature next to our house... great little wind-y road that we walk to see the cows.
We've had a great time being close to Pop & Lali. Sooo great being close to family!
We're also close to Sam's sister and her family. We love Ben & Isaac! 6 boys... whoo!!
Max has loved his momma time!
Rolo has been getting extra love, too!
Max LOVES the ducks at the Lake. "Guck, whoa!!"
Bo and Max are lovin' each other during the day. Max has to get his "Bo-kiss" in the morning and after nap!
Max discovered the bathroom cabinet! Simple pleasures!
We celebrated Colby's 6th birthday!
Sunsets are amazing!! Jen... doesn't it look like the opening of The Notebook?
Max is ALMOST walking!!
We enjoyed a little snow!
I think we FINALLY got used to the cold weather... took us a good month!
Max has packed on some pounds... thank God! He was sooo sick causing him to lose about 5 pounds! OOOh, he is soooo scrumptious!!!
We are loving the wii from Pop & Lali!

Sam took the boys to the Monster Truck show in Atlanta! Toooo fun!
We live so much closer to my Mom & Dan... just a hop, skip, and a jump away!! YAY!!!
We had a sweet goodbye breakfast at Cracker Barrel before leaving Orlando... :(
I love my Jen! Oh, if we could only teleport!!!
We miss those sweet friends!
We loved staying with the Kelly's before we moved and enjoyed playing on our playset before leaving it for Jacob, Ethan, and Matthew!

#6... Birth of Ella Faith Dukes. It was a true, pure joy to be in the room when she was born. It is a true honor for that little angel to have my middle name. By the way... Jen is the strongest chick on the planet... all I've ever known are c-sections... whoo!! She made me sooo proud!

We're doing GREAT in Alabama & Georgia Y'all!!!!
WOW!!! We did it... we really did it!! We have been at the lakehouse for two weeks now and we are loving EVERY second of it!!!
UPDATE ON EVERYONE... sorry no pics... I'm at Sam's parents house doing this update since we don't have internet at the lake and my camera doesn't plug in here!!!
SAM... LOVES his new job. He gets to take the boys into work with him for the school day. They do their car devotion and scripture memory in the morning and then he has some quiet time in the afternoon because Jackson and Colby fall asleep for the 40 minute drive back to the lakehouse. He is working hard to find us a home in Rome... lotta great prospects. He's loving quiet nights with Ali. My country boy is eating up this part of the country... lakes, mountains... heaven!
ALI... LOVES her simplicity!!! I am really enjoying moving slower! I'm holding Max longer in the morning when he wakes, I'm bowling with Bo on the Wii, I'm reading book after book with Colby at night, and I'm having a lot of talk time with my Jackson who is so curious about the world right now. I have healthily let go of my amazing job that I adored for the past five years and have embraced the beauty of my family being my only responsibility. I'm having my sweet quiet time every day and love reading the Love Dare with Sam. My three favorite times of the day are: watching the sunrise over the lake while eating breakfast with Bo and Max... Sitting on the dock, watching the ducks swim in while hearing Max say in pure amazement, "Guck.. ooohhh!!!"... Sitting on the rocking chairs on the prch anticipating Sam, Jackson, and Colby's arrival.
JACKSON... He's my cool dude!! He just blended right into the kids at school. Sam said he has a different friend sitting by him at lunch each day. He loves Homerun Derby on Wii and can't stand the cold weather. Gotta get his Florida blood used to it!!
COLBY... Sweet Colby!! His teacher adores him at school! As do all the girls... that's Colby!! He's excelling in reading and always ready to see Bo & Max in the afternoon. He loves when I read with him at night... so precious!
BO... He's loving having his momma with him all day. All throughout the day, he hugs me and says "I love you!" We go on a lot of great adventures that make his big brothers jealous! Library, walks to the goats, trip to pop and lali's for the day, etc... It's great to be three!!!
MAX... Oh Max!! He is smiling and eating so much. He got through his 2 months of diarhea and lack of appetite... now he's making up for lost time. He's chubby and happy. He loves kissing on Bo all day and I love kissing on him!!
God is sooooooooo good.... we never fully understand why He leads us certain directions at really odd times, but it's beautiful to see His plan unfold... We're loving every minute of it!!!

So Long, Farewell from the Couch Clan... for now!!!
The Couch Clan is signing off for now...
Well, it's November 17th and the next 6 weeks are going to be very full for our family.
Sam and I are going on vacation in Cancun, Pop & Lali are coming to take care of the boys, we are doing all of the wonderful festivities of the Holiday Season with our church family, we are wrapping our jobs at Westpoint, we will be busy bees working on Creative Christmas presents for family and friends, we will be packing up our home, and Sam will be traveling to nail down his new job and our new home... all before December 31st.
So, needless to say any extra time that I have after a long, task-full day... I need to be nurturing my marriage, cradling my children, hangin' with my pals that I adore here in Orlando, and resting! The scrapbooks are tucked away and pictures are printed and ready for me to do my pages once I'm settled again. The computer will soon be packed up... Therefore... have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas... you'll be hearing from us soon...

A Few Things that I Love About My Boys...
Their dirty little feet...
They love to run up the slide moreso than sliding down...
They love to swing higher and higher and higher...
They truly believe they can tackle their daddy...
They love romping around in the grass...
over and over and over... no problem...
They are absolutely adorable in jeans...
They seem to claim anything pretty that I have in our home into little boy storage...
They find the joy in anything... even turning a carseat around...
They adore each other...
Although they have distinct differences... you can tell they are brothers...
One look from each one of them... and their charm makes my heart flutter...
They are all gonna be men one day wearing a tux on their special day... and I'm gonna remember these little days when they were just mine and Sam's. I can't wait to share their charm and joy and little boy hearts with four beautiful ladies one day.
