Happy Easter... Happy Everyday...

Oh... Spring is here! I just forgot how beautiful this changing season is since this is only our second Spring here in Georgia. It's just breathtaking to see each day a new bud open and to hear the birds again! Max and I go for walks atleast once a day around all of the property. It's one of my favorite times of the day because we have no agenda, no time constraints, no other voices to sway us one direction or another... just me and Max doing whatever his little 2 year old eyes lead us toward... On this day... we were led to a rolling hill of daffodils. He would pick one and want me to smell it... I was sooo smitten with the moment that I tried to capture it with my own arm extended to snap the pic... got it! This picture seems so serene... which THIS moment was serene... but about 32 seconds later Max goes running down this hill, trampling into the mud at the pond edge... then while walking past the cows with a muddy 2 year old in my arms, our dog spooked the cows, causing them to run after the dog who ran to my feet causing 7 cows to charge after the dog, the mom, and the muddy baby... causing the mom to go ankle deep into the muddy pond with baby for an exit plan if the cows continued to charge... luckily not needing to go for a swim since the cows darted the opposite direction. So... momma, standing in the mud with baby, in flip flops, cursing the dogs name wishes she could snap her fingers and be home... doesn't exactly match this moment that was 1 minute and 47 seconds earlier... does it?
Oh, Easter.... have I mentioned how I LOVE being so close to family :) We were blessed to get to be with Sam's parents, his sister's precious family, and Nanny Bea, his grandmother... such a sweet, easy, cozy, and funny time...

Pop & Lali with their 6 grandboys... you'll have to come look in our Family scrapbook of the picture of Lali with the boys and all of them with their fingers in their noses... even Lali!!
Bo and Nanny Bea... she LOVES her great grandchildren... she enjoyed watching them hunt eggs and play ball from the back porch...
Lali's birthday cake with all of her boys...
Checking out the loot...
Could a gal be any more protected?? :) Melt my heart!!!
Daddy... rest... not with this crew around!!!
Kickball time!!! Pop and Aunt Amanda vs. ALL of the boys!!! Pop was not easing up on them!!!
Farmer Jeff came up the road on Murphy for a sweet Easter surprise!!
And finally.... Our littlest man got the biggest boy haircut today! My baby isn't lookin' so much like a baby anymore... eek!!!
