There will be a brief period of time until I write about my birthday celebrations... we have been evacuated from our home.
Yes, a toilet has malfunctioned and caused flooding to the middle and right side of our sweet little home!! AAHH!!! 4 1/2 weeks until Max comes. Glad it's happening now and not closer to his birth!!!
I was just having a sweet ole time celebrating the 3rd surprise installment of my birthday with my sweet Jen. Then came home to Sam and the boys and a desheveled home full of water.
As of right now... we packed up from Jen and Jason's house after staying there a week while they were on vacation and now we are at the Hampton Inn which I am now calling our "home-tel"!! All of my damaged wood floors are all pulled up, living room and kitchen are all covered in plastic, boys' bathroom is a mess, and there room is just an empty shell of dried up carpet.
Home ain't so good, but boy are we having fun!!!! I just have to keep looking at this situation through the boys' eyes... Home is where we are together... As much as I love to create a sweet, loving, and warm home... it is just a house... home is the people who are in it!!! So, whether we are at our sweet friends house or in a hotel... we are home because we are together!!!
